At Operation Warm, we’ve seen firsthand the impact that a brand-new coat or pair of shoes can make in a child’s life. More than just providing warmth and comfort, these items boost confidence, encourage school attendance, and allow children to focus on truly being kids – not worrying about the weather, being included, or the stress of finances for their family. If you’re an organization looking for these resources you’ve came to the right place. Apply to be on our Wish List to receive these essential items.
We also know that the needs of the families and communities we serve go beyond clothing. Through conversations with our partners—schools, shelters, nonprofits and other community organizations—we hear the challenges families face and the resources they need.
For over 26 years, Operation Warm has used the coat as a bridge to connect families with essential services, from flu shots to literacy programs, opportunities for community connections and access to meals and more. While we can’t do it all, we want to help by sharing additional resources that may be valuable to those we serve.
