As we gear up for Giving Tuesday 2025, we’re reflecting on the incredible generosity and impact of last year’s campaign—and celebrating what we accomplished together. 

In 2024, Giving Tuesday broke records nationwide, with an estimated $3.6 billion donated in the U.S. alone—bringing the total contributions since its inception to more than $18.5 billion. 

These staggering numbers demonstrate the collective power of kindness and the ripple effect of a single day dedicated to doing good. 

Doubling the Impact: Nordstrom & Operation Warm 

Last Giving Tuesday, we were thrilled to partner with Nordstrom, whose generosity made every contribution up to $100,000 go twice as far.  This was our fourth year partnering together to provide donors with the opportunity to double their impact, thanks to this generous match, and maximizing our ability to provide essential warmth to kids who need it most. 

Thanks to the generous supporters of this impact initiative, we served 2,680 children from Giving Tuesday donations with brand-new coats and shoes, with socks. Nordstrom’s matching contribution then enabled us to extend this impact even further—reaching over 5,000 children—helping them feel confident, stay warm, and embrace the season ahead. 

We’re thrilled to share that we’ll be partnering with Nordstrom again this Giving Tuesday, building on last year’s momentum to reach even more children in need. In addition to this campaign, Nordstrom will host five holiday events across the country, gifting nearly 2,000 children with brand-new coats. With your help, we know we can make an even greater impact.
