Operation Warm’s First Layer of Confidence PSA earned a Silver Davey Award, recognizing its powerful message of confidence.
We’re excited to share that Operation Warm’s First Layer of Confidence public service announcement has been named a Silver Winner in the 22nd Annual Davey Awards in the General Non-Profit category.
The Davey Awards celebrate creative excellence from small teams and independent creators bringing big ideas to life. This year’s winners were selected by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
A Message Worth Sharing
The First Layer of Confidence was created to bring greater awareness to childhood clothing insecurity and the difference essential apparel can make in a child’s life.
A brand-new coat, pair of shoes or sports bra can be more than something to wear. These essentials can help give children the confidence to show up, participate and feel like they belong. That idea is at the heart of the PSA and Operation Warm’s mission.
Being recognized with a Silver Davey Award helps carry that message even further and brings greater visibility to an issue that often goes unseen.
We’re incredibly proud of everyone who helped bring The First Layer of Confidence to life and grateful to see its message continue to resonate.
