The Impact of New Shoes

On average, children outgrow their shoes every 4-8 months. Most families living in poverty can’t afford to keep up with the needs of their child’s growing feet. But, when children have brand-new shoes that fit right and instill confidence, they have the stepping stone to do it all – comfortably, and actively.

Why New Shoes?

67% of children are wearing shoes that don’t fit, as families with limited budgets struggle to afford proper footwear. Proper fitting shoes are fundamental to a child’s health and well-being and at Operation Warm, we know every child deserves this basic necessity.
